Danielle Rose

Danielle Rose is an independent producer and project manager with an interest in strategic touring, and audience and artist development. She is passionate about how the creative industries can develop to ensure that people from working class backgrounds are not excluded by structural barriers and are better enabled to access, participate in and work in the arts. She is committed to working on projects that bring live performance to places that have sparse provision and to supporting lesser represented voices and hidden histories to be heard.

Her work over the last 15 years has included festival producing, project management of a national strategic touring project, international tour management for commercial music acts, managing artist development programmes and programming live performance. Organisations she has worked for include Southbank Centre, Lighthouse Poole, Pavilion Dance South West, Wide Awake Devon, Inside Out Dorset festival, Plymouth City Museum and Art Gallery, and The Dartington Hall Trust. She has been a regular Visiting Tutor for Arts University Bournemouth on their Creative Events and Arts Management degree and mentored young people in association with Soundstorm, Activate Performing Arts and The Bourne Academy. She was one of only 12 producers in the UK selected by PRS Foundation for their New Music Plus UK programme. Independent artists she has worked with include Ria Hartley, Made By Katie Green, Sophie Nuzel and Worklight Theatre. She founded the Bournemouth & Poole Creative and Digital Professionals network, which has grown to over 700 members, and worked with Fuel on the development of audience clubs in Dorset.
