Louise Cartwright and The Artifact's "Creative Toolbox"
Louise Cartwright and The Artifact received funding from the CashBack 4 Creativity Fund, administered by YouthLink Scotland, to deliver workshops in words and movement to young people using Dundee Women’s Aid’s service.

This project saw series of ten workshops being delivered collaboratively by Louise and The Artifact’s Artistic Director, Gemma for the young people involved with the Dundee Women’s Aid service. The aim of these workshops was encourage creativity through movement and self-expression.

Through these workshops, we built confidence and communication skills by encouraging discussion, engaging in physical activity, promoting team work and expressing creativity. The young people developed new talents in dance and writing, encouraging them to embrace creativity in their everyday lives. At the end of the project, we produced a collection of poetry developed through the workshops, giving the young people a tangible sense of achievement and legacy as the experience came to a close.
